Dear The Plumbing & Electrical Doctor,
Recently having to complete some updating and maintenance on my 2 story town house, where I had booked in a tradie, Beau attended for a quote. I also did some research for prices and services from other competitors too.
The Plumbing & Electrical Doctor called to confirm their tradie, if not by the tradie himself, 30 minutes prior to attending my home.
Final choice was decided on by both service and quoted price, and delivered on time with no extra charges, instead my receiving a BONUS – house safety check.
Follow up calls were all followed through on and I have since further received and amd very happy with my new Rheem RL32 250 Solar HWS.

We’ve just had Quentin working here for most of the day. He looked at our initial problem and after us telling him about eventually changing our taps, he was able to take care of everything pleasantly and efficiently.
Firstly, I couldn’t believe the big truck that pulled up outside and joked with him about having the whole hardware shop with him. Little did I know how true that was! He was then able to show us the ‘mobile showroom’ and we were able to choose not only a new tap for the kitchen, but towel rails for our newly renovated bathrooms as well! (Brilliant concept, by the way, to have a mobile mini showroom that is also stocked and a professional that can help you choose the right product that will work for your job!).
He quickly gave us a quote and explained the Members Club and the discounts we would receive. He also offered to install the toilet roll holders we already had when he did the towel rails fancy a Plumber installing that kind of hardware too! So of course, we agreed with everything and he went ahead. He had to arrange for a delivery of parts for our job and that was delivered to our home very quickly.

In July last year my hot water tank blew up. I had a quote from another company – simply the first local plumber I came to in the Yellow Pages – and was horrified to discover it was going to cost me thousands of dollars to replace my old tank.
As an invalid pensioner, that was simply not an option and so I went for five weeks without hot water until someone suggested I get a quote from your company. I rang the next day and someone came out and gave me a quote within a couple of hours. As I live alone, the plumber determined it was practical for me to have a smaller tank which literally halved the quote!
$1500 was still more money than I had and it seemed as if I would be without hot water for some time to come. However when I rang the company to explain that I would not yet be able to go ahead with the purchase, I was told that they would install the new tank and that as long as I made regular payments, they would be more than happy to help me.
I was not only quite shocked and impressed, but also extremely grateful.
Last night my hot water failed again. This morning, I once again rang the Plumbing Doctor for help. Someone arrived within two hours and although I had to leave for an appointment, he rang me later to say that the problem lay not with the tank but was electrical in nature and advised me to contact Energy Australia tomorrow to see if the fault was theirs.
I didn’t arrive home until after 5pm but there parked in front of my house was a truck from Energy Australia. Knowing that I would be gone all afternoon, the plumber had gone ahead and reported the problem for me.
Like many people, I am quick to criticise when I am unhappy with the service someone provides. However I believe it is every bit as important to give praise when someone or some company, goes out of their way to be helpful.
The Plumbing Doctor has gone above and beyond what would be considered good customer service in every dealing I have had with the company and each member of staff. I am writing this letter not only as a means of offering my thanks, but with the wish that you should feel free to use it on your website so that anyone looking for a plumber will know that in using your company they can be assured not only of high quality products, but of exceptional customer service.
