Problem was lack of drainage in common pipe from large bathroom; suddenly unsafe water backed up into sink, shower, toilet, and spa. Three visits from P&ED--first was to diagnose problem using sophisticated instruments--exit pipe was broken in one place (previous installer some 20 years ago had taken some short-cuts apparently) and tree roots that had entered blocked drainage. Second visit (all day) was to dig 1.3 m down to the drainage pipe, replace pipe (so much better in its course, esp. where it turned and where it dropped depth). Third visit was to replace soil and paving stones that had been removed on day 2. All work was excellent quality! Plumber was very well trained, courteous, answered all questions--my husband was also very impressed with the work and personnel.
On time and professional
The Doctor came on time and fixed the problem I e. a leak below the bathroom basin outlet. A bit expensive although it was a good job by a capable plumber.
Max was delayed, but he phoned to keep us informed, which we much appreciated. He quoted us for varying levels of work, ranging from fixing the immediate problem to full replacement of the cistern. We opted for getting it thoroughly serviced to save another callout in a few months. He did a wonderful job very quickly. We were highly delighted.

I had a crappy Hills Solar Evacuator Tube system installed 12yrs ago, first few years it was great then it became a money pit replacing Pumps, Roof pressure valves, 3 sensers etc over the years. The only reliable part was the Rinnai gas backup unit. It was in constant use (although its not meant to be used that way). I decided to replace the whole system with a new Natural Gas Rinnai continuous flow water system. I called a few plumbers, (was near Xmas week so thought it will be next year) one of Plumbing Doctor plumbers came out on the 18th Dec & gave me a great quote with me supplying the new unit. They came again on the 30/12/24 and installed it for us. The plumber was a great worker & friendly knocked over the job as required. bypassing the defunct old solar system, cleaned up the site tested and explained what he was doing.
